The workflow includes raw material verification, billet inspection, hot extrusion, multi-pass cold drawing, intermediate annealing, precision sizing, bright annealing, straightening, cutting to length, cleaning, inspection and testing, and final packaging.
Every Hastelloy C276 micro tube undergoes comprehensive inspection to verify compliance with ASTM, ASME and project-specific requirements. Testing covers dimensional verification, chemical composition analysis via spectrometer, 100% positive material identification (PMI), mechanical property testing, corrosion testing per ASTM G28, metallurgical examination, and non-destructive testing including eddy current, ultrasonic, dye penetrant and hydrostatic pressure testing. For semiconductor, aerospace, hydrogen and chemical processing projects, additional testing such as cleanliness inspection, surface roughness measurement and hydrogen compatibility testing is available.
