Super Alloy HAYNES 556 (UNS R30556) is a high-performance nickel alloy designed for high-temperature applications. Its chemical composition includes iron (Fe) as the balance, chromium (Cr) 21.00%-23.00%, nickel (Ni) 19.00%-22.50%, cobalt (Co) 16.00%-21.00%, molybdenum (Mo) 2.50%-4.00%, tungsten (W) 2.00%-3.50%, with controlled trace elements: manganese (Mn) 0.50%-2.00%, silicon (Si) 0.20%-0.80%, carbon (C) 0.05%-0.15%, phosphorus (P) ≤0.04%, sulfur (S) ≤0.02%, aluminum (Al) ≤0.5%, zirconium (Zr) 0.001%-0.1%, boron (B) ≤0.02%, niobium (Nb) ≤0.3%, tantalum (Ta) ≤1.25%, and nitrogen (N) 0.1%-0.3%.
Compliant with ASTM B622 standards, the seamless tube offers dimensions: outer diameter (OD) from 1mm to 325mm, wall thickness from 0.2mm to 20mm, and a standard length of 12m (custom specifications available). Physical and mechanical properties include a density of 8.23 g/cm³, melting range of 1330-1415℃, tensile strength of 815 MPa (118000 psi), yield strength of 410 MPa (59500 psi), Charpy impact of 240 J (177 ft.lb), and elongation at break of 47.70%.
The alloy combines effective resistance to sulfidizing, carburizing, and chlorine-bearing environments at high temperatures with excellent oxidation resistance. It maintains exceptional high-temperature strength and fabricability, making it suitable for extreme heat applications. It also resists corrosion by molten zinc, molten chloride salts, and other aggressive salts.
Produced by a factory with 30 years of seamless pipe manufacturing experience, the product is manufactured using 18 seamless production lines and 3 perforation lines, with an annual output of 30,000 tons of austenitic and duplex steel pipes. The facility holds ISO9001:2015 certification and is approved by BV, ABS, CCS, DNV/GL, TUV, LR, KR, and other classification societies.
Raw materials are sourced from renowned mills (Tingshan, Tisco, Bao Steel, Yongxing, Walsn) and undergo MTC (PMI) checking, tensile strength testing, and surface/dimension inspection. In-production monitoring and pre-shipment tests (appearance, PMI, non-destructive testing, metallographic test, impact test, tensile test, hardness test) ensure product reliability. Third-party inspections are accepted.

We will do MTC checking (PMI), tensile strength test, surface/dimension inspection for raw material.
2. Production
Specially assigned person shall follow up and check the process flow card and finally keep the copy.
3. Before Shipment
Our quality inspection team responsible for different categories of products. We will conduct routine appearance testing, PMI testing, non-destructive testing.
