The UNS N06617/DIN W.NR. 2.4663A Seamless Pipe is a high-performance solution engineered for extreme temperature and pressure conditions, combining superior strength with excellent oxidation resistance. Composed of nickel-chromium-cobalt-molybdenum alloy, this pipe ensures reliability in high-stress environments, ideal for gas turbines, hydrogen processing, and aerospace systems.
Advanced Alloy Design:
Composition: Ni (50-55%), Cr (20-24%), Co (10-15%), Mo (2-4%), Al (0.8-1.5%), providing tensile strength ≥750 MPa (aged condition) and yield strength ≥350 MPa at 800°C.
Creep resistance: Withstands 100 MPa at 850°C for 10,000 hours (ASTM B167), 30% better than standard nickel alloys in high-temperature creep conditions.
Environmental Resistance:
Oxidation resistance: Stable up to 1250°C in air, forming a protective Cr₂O₃/CoO scale, and resistant to hydrogen embrittlement (H₂ ≤100 bar, 500°C).
Corrosion resistance: Passes ASTM G28 Method A (H₂SO₄) for 48 hours, suitable for sour gas (H₂S + CO₂) environments (NACE MR0175 compliant).
Manufacturing Precision:
Seamless hot-rolled process with age-hardening treatment, OD 15-400mm, wall thickness 3-30mm, dimensional tolerance ±0.75% (OD), ideal for tight-fit installations.
Non-destructive testing: 100% radiographic testing (RT) for welds (if applicable) and grain size analysis (ASTM E112, Grade 5-8), ensuring zero defects in critical sections.
Gas Turbines: Used for combustor liners and hot gas ducts, enduring 1200°C and 100 bar pressure in combined cycle power plants.
Hydrogen Processing: Transports high-pressure hydrogen (≤200 bar) in refineries and fuel cell systems, resisting hydrogen-induced cracking (HIC) and sulfide stress corrosion (SSC).
Aerospace Engines: Supports high-temperature sections in jet engines, with low thermal expansion (13.3 μm/m°C) reducing thermal stress in rapid temperature changes.
Energy Storage: Used in compressed hydrogen storage systems, compliant with ISO 28081 (hydrogen fuel systems) and ASME BPVC Section VIII Div. 3.
